DSIP CALCULATOR·RECONSTITUTION & DOSAGE MATH · RESEARCH USE

DSIP calculator.

Work out the reconstitution for a DSIP vial. Enter the mg in the vial and the bacteriostatic water you add, and it returns the concentration in mg/mL and the volume in U-100 syringe units. Pre-filled with a common 5 mg vial — change it to match yours. Arithmetic only: it never suggests how much to use.

About the DSIP numbers.

REFERENCE

DSIP is a cognitive peptide with an approximate half-life of About 8 minutes in human plasma after intravenous dosing, according to FDA's July 2026 briefing; aminopeptidases in blood break it down. No data exist for subcutaneous dosing.. The arithmetic above is the same for every compound — only the concentration changes with how you reconstitute. For mechanism, the evidence base, common research dose ranges and vendor pricing, see the full DSIP guide, and the main peptide calculator for worked examples and the full method.

Common questions.

FAQ

How do you work out DSIP syringe units?

Reconstitute the vial, then divide the amount you want to draw by the concentration — mg of DSIP in the vial divided by mL of bacteriostatic water — to get the volume in mL, and multiply by 100 for U-100 syringe units. The calculator above does it once you enter your vial and water.

How many units is 1 mg of DSIP?

It depends on how you reconstitute it, not on the compound. A 5 mg DSIP vial mixed with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water is 2.5 mg/mL, so 1 mg is 40 units on a U-100 syringe. Use more water and the same 1 mg is more units.

What size vial does DSIP come in?

Research DSIP is commonly sold around 5 mg per vial, but sizes vary by vendor. The calculator works for any size — enter the mg printed on your label and the water you added.
