FROM THE BENCH

What we found

  • An open FDA warning letter. Letter 721600, dated 31 March 2026, names its three GLP products and its bac water as unapproved new drugs. On 9 October 2026 the product URLs FDA quoted redirected to the same products under "MHC-1 SM", "MHC-2 TRZ" and "MHC-3 RT", and the bac water sold as "Reconstitution Solution".
  • A clean lab record. 53 Kovera reports with none marked FAIL, a median purity of 99.93%, and fills that run over label rather than under.
  • Paperwork with gaps. Kovera's identity line names the code name, not a molecule. 17 fills above their stated range still read PASS, and 137 of 166 links in the shop's COA library open Google Drive files rather than a lab portal.
  • Four addresses. The FDA letter, terms, FAQ and a rater's listing each give a different one. We did not confirm the LLC on Colorado's registry.
  • Lookalike shops. Two domains registered in March and April 2026 rank for its name. The real shop is milehighcompounds.is.

Mile High Compounds scores 55/100. On lab numbers alone it would sit near the top of our public-data cohort; the FDA letter is the largest single factor pulling it down. If you buy, read reports on Kovera or Vanguard, not on Google Drive.

Is Mile High Compounds legit?

It is a real, shipping business with lab reports you can check. We re-read all 53 of its Kovera reports on Kovera's public verifier on 9 October 2026, and Vanguard Laboratory's portal returns 25 records under the brand.

If "legit" means "the vial matches the label", the lab record says mostly yes. If it means "legally sold", FDA's letter says no. Passing certificates do not answer the letter: as our August letters article explains, FDA built every 2026 letter from the vendor's own website, not from testing.

What do Mile High Compounds' lab reports show?

Our mirror of Kovera Labs holds 53 records for the client "Mile High Compounds", dated 26 February to 20 June 2026: 49 vial potency reports, 2 capsule reports, 1 endotoxin panel and 1 bac water analysis. Our leaderboard ranked it sixth by volume in May. All 53 are listed with lot, purity and a verify link on our Mile High Compounds Kovera page.

Identity confirms a code name. On report KVR-2026-195519 the LC-MS identity line reads "MHC-2 TRZ" against a specification of "MHC-2 TRZ". Kovera's own record files the sample as "Tirzepatide". A mass-spectrometry match needs a reference, and the certificate does not say which molecule the lab matched. We read these as tirzepatide and retatrutide because Kovera's record says so, not because the certificate does.

Fills outside the stated range read PASS. KVR-2026-97AEF5 reports 12.36 mg in a 10 mg vial against "10mg ± 10%", which allows up to 11 mg; the verifier showed it as PASS on 9 October 2026. Of the 42 Mile High records that state a "± 10%" range, 17 report a fill above it, from 110.1% to 123.6%, all marked PASS. Kovera does the same on Peptide Partners reports, so we read this as Kovera's practice rather than anything Mile High controls. A Kovera "PASS" on a fill line does not mean "within ±10%".

Lot codes repeat across months. GLP-310-MH-03 appears in the shop's COA library against 25 September 2025, 7 February 2026 and 31 March 2026, and at Kovera on 31 March and 19 May 2026, where the two reports measured 10.51 mg and 12.36 mg. GLP-230-MH-02 spans October 2025 to June 2026. Either one lot lasted eight months or the code does not name a single production run; we cannot tell which from outside.

Values are single-vial figures held in our mirror after the 1-2 August 2026 re-fetch. Kovera's verifier now shows a batch average of 11.95 mg for the sermorelin report, against our recorded 12.85 mg.

Certificates revised in place

When we re-fetched every Kovera certificate on 1-2 August 2026, 19 Mile High records had been revised under the same certificate number, more than for any other client, and 5 of those revisions moved a purity or content value. None crossed a pass line. Our revisions article has the method. If you rely on a Mile High certificate, note the date you read it.

The COA library and the other labs

The shop's COA library lists every product with the current lot and earlier batches. Of the 166 outbound links we counted on 9 October 2026, 137 open Google Drive files, 21 go to chromate.org, 7 to Kovera and 1 to ILS. A Drive PDF shows what the shop uploaded; only a lab-hosted record shows what the lab issued.

The site says new lots are tested "at ISO 17025 accredited US labs: Vanguard, ILS Labs, and Ethos Analytics". Vanguard's A2LA scope does not list peptide purity, assay or identity, as we set out in the Hello Stacks audit. Vanguard's portal returns 25 Mile High records from January to August 2026, including MHC-3 RT, tesofensine and SLU-PP-332. We have not assessed Chromate, ILS or Ethos; peptide testing labs compared covers the labs we have.

What to watch out for

The FDA warning letter

FDA reviewed milehighcompounds.is, and the Skool community it linked to, from January to March 2026. The letter names "GLP-1 SM", "GLP-2 TRZ", "GLP-3 RT" and "BAC Water" as unapproved new drugs under section 505(a).

FDA's evidence came from two places. The product pages described GLP-3 RT as "a triple-receptor agonist compound targeting GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon receptors." The Skool community carried "The Ultimate Mile High Compounds Peptide Cheat Sheet", which listed uses including "Weight Loss" and "Addiction Recovery" next to weekly starting and maximum doses. FDA set aside the "in vitro research and educational purposes only" label because the website "establishes that your products are intended to be drugs for human use."

What the shop showed on 9 October 2026:

What FDA namedWhat the shop shows now
"GLP-1 SM" at /product/glp-1-sm/URL redirects (301) to "MHC-1 SM", in stock
"GLP-2 TRZ" at /product/glp-2-trz/URL redirects to "MHC-2 TRZ", in stock, $69.99-199.99
"GLP-3 RT" at /product/glp-3-rt/URL redirects to "MHC-3 RT", in stock, 5 mg to 50 mg, top seller on the homepage
"BAC Water""Reconstitution Solution" in 10, 20 and 30 mL, in stock
Skool communitythe Skool page returns a 404

A possible closeout notice. A search-index copy of the MHC-3 RT product page, which we could not date, carries a line headed "Final stock" that reads "Closeout sale due to recent regulations" and adds that the product may not return once it sells out. The shop's own site returned a Cloudflare check to our requests on 12 October 2026, so we could not confirm the notice on the live page, and our 9 October read did not record it. Check the live page in your browser. If it is live, it would suggest the shop is winding down the code-named GLP products; it would not close the letter, which stays open until FDA posts a close-out.

The MHC-3 RT page names no molecule. Lab reports used the MHC names at Vanguard as early as 7 February 2026, so the names predate the letter; what changed is that the URLs FDA quoted now point to them. We found no published response from the company. Our code-name catalog article and GLP-3 RT explainer decode the names.

Other catalog choices match what FDA and Eli Lilly cited against other sellers in 2026: SS-31, PT-141 and tesamorelin, which appear in all five August letters; acetic acid and phosphate-buffered saline as further solvents; nasal sprays and oral capsules; a 21+ age gate; and same-day shipping. The shop also sells tesofensine capsules, an investigational drug. A November 2025 buyer on Reddit wrote that a GHK-Cu order "came with the 30ml of backwater". We list these as regulatory exposure, not as findings about product quality.

Lookalike sites using the name

Search results for "mile high compounds" on 9 October 2026 showed a lookalike shop twice in the top ten, while the real store did not appear there. We describe the lookalikes without linking them.

Mile High Peptides LLC (milehighpeptides.com) is a separate business. A retatrutide vial at a quarter of the real shop's price, on a domain registered four days before FDA's letter, fits the pattern in how to spot aliased peptide vendors. Type milehighcompounds.is yourself.

Before the profile was removed we could not pin down its review count. Trustpilot blocked our direct request on 9 October 2026; a cached copy showed 4.9 from 316 reviews, a second fetch the same day showed 4.8 from 514, and PeptideBenchmark quoted 4.7 from 372 on 7 July. On 19 October 2026 Trustpilot showed the profile as removed because the business "goes against our guidelines", so there is no live score left to check. We draw no conclusion from the earlier differences.

On Reddit, the past year's posts naming the shop are mostly PeptideBenchmark affiliate promotions. An August 2026 buyer asked for experiences because "SS-31 is hard to find, but they have it".

Pricing

On 9 October 2026 the shop ran sale prices, a first-order discount and buy-two-get-one-free until 13 October. At the listed sale prices, against our index of nine vendors built 25 June 2026:

How we scored Mile High Compounds

SubscoreWeightScoreMain reason
COA quality40%7.0No Kovera fails and identity on every potency report, but identity names code names; 17 overfills beyond the stated range marked PASS; most library files on Google Drive; most in-place revisions in our mirror
Pricing25%7.6Five non-GLP products 13-64% under our index median per mg at sale prices
Shipping20%7.2Clear published terms and cutoffs; no order of ours
Support15%5.5Four addresses, store-credit-only returns, a paid Trustpilot profile that Trustpilot has since removed (19 Oct 2026)

The weighted subscores come to 7.0. We take 1.5 off for the open FDA warning letter, three times the regulatory-exposure deduction we applied to Hello Stacks, which has no letter. A warning letter is FDA's written finding about named products, and on 9 October 2026 Mile High still sold them. That gives 5.5. The rubric is on our methodology page.

Verdict

Buy from Mile High Compounds only if you want a vial whose fill and purity a lab has reported, you check the report on Kovera or Vanguard rather than a Drive file, and you accept that the identity line names a code. Skip it if legal exposure counts: FDA named the shop's GLP products in March, and on 9 October the same products sold under redirected URLs beside the bac water FDA called a drug. If a clean Kovera record without a warning letter is the goal, Ion Peptide holds the largest one in our mirror.

FAQ

Is Mile High Compounds legit? It is a real shop with a strong lab record: 53 Kovera reports in our mirror, none marked FAIL, median purity 99.93%. It also received FDA warning letter 721600 on 31 March 2026, and the three GLP products FDA named are still on sale under MHC code names. We score it 55/100 on public data; we have not placed an order.

What is MHC-3 RT? MHC-3 RT is Mile High Compounds' name for retatrutide. FDA quoted the product as "GLP-3 RT" at /product/glp-3-rt/; that URL now redirects to /product/mhc-3-rt/, a page that names no molecule. Kovera files the same reports under "Retatrutide". MHC-2 TRZ is tirzepatide and MHC-1 SM is semaglutide.

Did FDA send Mile High Compounds a warning letter? Yes. Letter 721600, dated 31 March 2026, says FDA reviewed milehighcompounds.is and its Skool community from January to March 2026 and found "GLP-1 SM", "GLP-2 TRZ", "GLP-3 RT" and "BAC Water" to be unapproved new drugs. FDA quoted cheat sheets that listed weight loss as a use alongside weekly doses.

Where is Mile High Compounds located? Its terms give 16055 Old Forest Pt. Suite 301, Monument, Colorado. The FDA letter used an address in Clifton, Colorado, the FAQ says the company is based in Colorado Springs, and orders ship from Scottsdale, Arizona. Disclosed Labs lists a fourth address in Lakewood, Colorado. We did not confirm the LLC on Colorado's registry.

Which website is the real Mile High Compounds? The shop FDA wrote to, and the one this page audits, is milehighcompounds.is. Two other domains using the name, milehighcompoundshop.com and milehighscompound.com, were registered in March and April 2026 and are not linked from the real shop. Mile High Peptides is a different company. Type the .is address yourself rather than clicking a search result.

Does vialaudit earn commission from Mile High Compounds? No. We have no commercial relationship with Mile High Compounds. This page carries no affiliate link and no coupon, and the visit link goes to the plain homepage. The shop runs an affiliate sign-up page titled "Mile High Club Signup" at milehighcompounds.is/affiliate-registration, and PeptideBenchmark discloses a referral link and code. We have not applied, and we would not take a link from a vendor with an open FDA warning letter.

What we read, and what we did not

We read the 53 Mile High records in our Kovera mirror, all re-checked on Kovera's verifier, 25 Vanguard records, our Janoshik mirror, the shop's home, about, FAQ, contact, terms and COA library pages, its product feed (72 products) and cart endpoint, FDA letter 721600, RDAP for five domains, the lookalike shops' home and contact pages, four rater sites and Reddit search results, all on 9 October 2026.

On 12 October 2026 we re-checked Vanguard's portal (still 25 records, latest dated 12 August 2026) and FDA's letter page, which shows no close-out or response and reads "Content current as of: 04/07/2026". The shop's own site answered our requests with a Cloudflare check, so the closeout notice and shipping wording above come from search-index copies and are unconfirmed.

We did not open checkout, order a vial, or contact Mile High Compounds, Kovera or FDA. The Skool community returned a 404, so we rely on FDA's quotes from it. We did not open the Google Drive files or the Chromate records, and we did not confirm the LLC on Colorado's registry.
