For this preview profile we synthesized the vendor's public catalog (38 SKUs listed, with the tracked-compound matches per-mg-priced below), the VeloPep Labs about-page, the public certificates library and COA inspector, a representative product page (GLP-3 RT) for identity and assay detail, and the Terms of Service for payment, shipping, and returns policy. We re-read the shop on 12 October 2026: the catalog now lists 40 product addresses (including two bacteriostatic water products), the certificates library lists 39 certificates, and the Terms were last updated in September 2026. We did not place a test order.
Why Research Peptide Hub matters in 2026
Research Peptide Hub is the storefront brand of VeloPep Labs, a research-grade peptide operation that launched into 2026. What stands out for the price index is the catalog mix: alongside the BPC-157 / TB-500 / MOTS-C / Tesamorelin mainstream, it lists the GLP-1 incretin cluster — a retatrutide-class triple agonist, a tirzepatide-class dual agonist, and cagrilintide — that most US-facing vendors avoid carrying.
The vendor also says it does the thing our methodology rewards: it states that it publishes batch-specific third-party Certificates of Analysis, with HPLC purity and mass-spec identity, through a named independent lab (Freedom Diagnostics), and its public library lists 39 certificates with purity figures. That is a stronger posture than vendors who claim testing in marketing copy but list no documents, but we could not open a certificate to confirm what the library shows, and the homepage sample card is labelled with the vendor's own brand (see below).
What is still open
- The proprietary GLP labels. The headline GLP compounds ship under house codes rather than retatrutide and tirzepatide. We first read them as "GLP-3 RT" and "GLP-2 TRZ"; by 12 October 2026 the shop displays "RPH-R3 (GLP-1/GIP/GCGR)" and "RPH-TRZ2 (GLP-1/GIP)", while the product addresses still read glp-3-rt and glp-2-trz. The GLP-3 RT product page listed CAS 2381089-83-2 and the 39-amino-acid triple-agonist sequence, which is retatrutide; the relabeling is cosmetic but it obscures identity for buyers and is the kind of naming pattern we flag, and the composite carries the methodology's regulatory-exposure deduction for code-name SKUs. - The lab. COAs are credited to Freedom Diagnostics, but the homepage sample certificate card is labelled "VeloPep Labs assay", and VeloPep Labs is the vendor's own brand. The certificate viewer opens behind a 21+ acknowledgment that we did not accept, so we could not read a certificate or tell which entity issued which one. Community signal
There is no independent community track record for this vendor yet, which is consistent with a brand only a few months old. As of June 2026 the only Reddit footprint we could find is self-created: a brand-run subreddit (r/ResearchPeptideHub, opened June 2026 with near-zero engagement) and self-promotional posts by the owner in r/smallbusiness and r/growmybusiness asking how to recruit fitness influencers. In those posts the owner states the company is "about 3 months old" and doing "about 15K per month" — useful context for how new the operation is.
One detail is worth flagging against the vendor's own framing. In the same posts the owner writes about having "lost 78 pounds on GLP-3" and wanting "the world to have a fair shake at fitness" — i.e. publicly marketing personal, human weight-loss use of a compound the storefront sells as research-use-only. Combined with the proprietary "GLP-3 RT" labeling for retatrutide, that is a consistency gap on the public record. We found no independent purity, shipping, or scam reports either way — the operation is simply too new for them to exist yet. As of 12 October 2026 that is still true: we found no independent buyer reports, we found no Finnrick listing for the vendor, and Trustpilot's page for the domain shows as removed, so there is no live review profile.
As of 12 October 2026 we also found no FDA warning letter or court filing naming Research Peptide Hub. Eli Lilly's 12 August 2026 retatrutide suits named six other sellers, but a shop selling a retatrutide-class compound under a house label sits in the same exposure class.
