Audit notes

FROM THE BENCH

What we found

  • A large lab record from three orders. Vanguard Laboratory's public portal lists 156 records for "Core Peptides". Every one belongs to one of three sample orders the lab reported in December 2025, spring 2026 and July 2026.
  • Two results you will not see on the shop's pages. A KPV lot measured 59.35% purity, and an IGF-1 LR3 vial held 0.42 mg against a 1 mg label. The KPV product page shows no certificate. The IGF-1 LR3 page shows a certificate for that same report with the quantity line missing.
  • Shop copies without quantity. For 42 reports where Vanguard's copy prints a measured quantity, the copy on the product page leaves it out.
  • One report number on two products. The shop's Fragment 176-191 certificate carries lab ID V260706-2 007, which Vanguard holds as an AOD-9604 report with a different lot.
  • Accreditation that does not cover the test. The shop says an "A2LA-accredited" lab tests every batch. Vanguard's A2LA scope lists no peptide test.

Core Peptides scores 53/100. If you buy, find your vial's lot code in our CSV of all 156 records and open the lab's copy, not the shop's.

Is Core Peptides legit?

It is a real, long-running shop. The domain corepeptides.com dates from 13 October 2019 (RDAP), the shop sells 104 products, and it names its lab. A buyer can open every Vanguard record without logging in, which most shops do not allow.

The record is mixed. Most purity results are high. A few are not, and the shop's own pages make the weak ones harder to find: no certificate on the KPV page, and quantity lines missing from the certificates it does post.

So the shop sends real vials to a real lab. Its product pages do not show you everything the lab found.

What do "156 certificates" mean for a buyer?

The number sounds like continuous batch testing. It comes from three orders.

What the 156 records areCount
Sample orders they come from3
Order V251124-11, reported 9 December 202521
Order V260309-14, reported 31 March to 5 May 202688

Distinct lot codes printed on the PDFs130
Records with an identity result45
Records with a measured quantity (lab copy)68
Records with endotoxin, sterility or metals0

148 records carry the order number in their report number. The other 8 are filed under a file ID, but their PDFs carry lab IDs from the same orders (6 from March, 2 from November). The portal's batch field is empty on all 156. The lot code is printed on the PDF instead: 155 PDFs carry a C-series code, and one prints "10 mg" in the lot field.

So a buyer should read the 156 as about 130 lots, each tested once or a few times, on three dates. Twenty-two lot codes appear on more than one record. Some are the same lot retested months apart: NAD+ 750 mg lot C73489 shows up in all three orders. Three lot codes appear on records for different compounds, for example C73705 on both Pentapeptide-18 and Pinealon.

A record proves something about your vial only when the lot on the vial matches the lot on the PDF. Vanguard prints the same warning on every certificate: the lab "did not observe or participate in the sample selection process" and cannot confirm a sample represents its lot.

What do Core Peptides' lab results show?

Purity is high on most records. Fifty-seven are printed as a floor (">99.80%" and similar), which we count at the floor value.

V260309-14 058Nonapeptide-1C736785 May 2026Purity 95.45%

A KPV vial at 59.35% purity means about two-fifths of the HPLC signal came from something other than KPV. Across 33 KPV analyses at Kovera Labs, the lowest purity was 99.11% (our KPV guide). The IGF-1 LR3 vial passed identity and purity and still held well under half its label.

The two December 2025 semaglutide records show a second problem. The portal's summary gives their quantities as "3 mg" and "5 mg". The certificates themselves, image-only PDFs, print 2.74 mg and 4.61 mg. Read the PDF, not the portal tile.

What does the shop show you?

Core Peptides says the certificate "for each tested batch is published on the product page". On 10 October 2026, 81 of 104 product pages linked a certificate PDF. All 88 PDFs we downloaded are Vanguard reports.

Quantity lines that are missing

62 of the shop's PDFs carry a lab ID that matches a public Vanguard record. For 42 of those, Vanguard's copy prints a measured quantity. None of the 42 shop copies does. In 41 of the 42 pairs the lot, date, purity and identity lines match; the exception is below.

ProductLab IDLab copy: quantityShop copy: quantity
IGF-1 LR3, 1 mgV260706-2 0750.42 mgnot shown
GHK-Cu, 200 mgV260706-2 036172.64 mgnot shown

DSIP, 5 mgV260706-2 0284.94 mgnot shown
MOTS-c, 10 mgV260706-2 05511.13 mgnot shown

Each pair of files carries the same creation timestamp, to the second. That points to two versions generated together rather than a later edit, and we cannot tell from outside who asked for the shorter one. Most of the hidden quantities are fine or over label. The two that matter are the GHK-Cu and IGF-1 LR3 vials, and the shop page for IGF-1 LR3 calls the batch ">99% purity by HPLC" with no mention of the 0.42 mg.

One report number, two products

The shop's Fragment 176-191 certificate gives lab ID V260706-2 007, lot C74128 and purity 99.08%. Vanguard's record V260706-2 007 is AOD-9604 5 mg, lot C74106, purity 99.08%, and the shop posts that AOD-9604 report on its AOD-9604 page too. Both PDFs share a creation timestamp. We found no Fragment 176-191 report in the July order on the portal.

A second pair differs only in its title: the shop's copy of V260706-2 031 names "HGH Fragment 176-191/CJC-1295/Ipamorelin", while Vanguard's copy of the same report and lot names "HGH/CJC-1295/Ipamorelin". We have not asked Vanguard or Core Peptides which document is right.

Pages without a certificate

23 product pages show no certificate. For several of them Vanguard holds a record, and those include the weakest results in the set: KPV (59.35%), Nonapeptide-1 (95.45%), Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 (97.13%) and both GHRP-6 sizes (under 88% of label). Others without a certificate, such as Semax and Selank, have clean lab records.

26 shop PDFs carry lab IDs that are not in the public list, including two later orders (V260713-33 and V260730-27) and reports dated 21 August 2026. The portal is not the full record either.

What does the A2LA accreditation cover?

Vanguard Laboratory is Olympic Analytical, LLC, Olympia, Washington. It holds A2LA certificate 6377.01, valid to 30 September 2027.

We read the scope document dated 22 December 2025. It lists food and environmental microbiology, gluten, parabens and preservatives, trace metals by ICP-MS and residual solvents. It lists no HPLC peptide purity, identity or quantity test.

We were not first. Disclosed Labs, The Longevity Archive (which read the scope on 14 September 2026) and Peptide Decode (3 October 2026) all reported it. A 21 September Substack piece quotes Vanguard saying it is working to add peptides to its scope.

Core Peptides' homepage says its peptides are "third-party tested by an A2LA-accredited U.S. lab". That sentence is true of the lab and not of the test. Our Vanguard Laboratory explainer covers what that means for any shop using the lab, and our testing-labs comparison covers the others.

What to watch out for

Shops using the Core Peptides name

Searches for "Core Peptides" return many look-alike domains: corepeptidesofficial.com, corepeptides.ca, corepeptidesbrazil.com.br, buycorepeptide.com, aucorepeptide.com, corepeptideusa.com and corepeptideseurope.com. Several reuse the corepeptides.com product text and SKU codes. We could not tell which, if any, share an operator. corepeptides.com sold no GLP-1 product on 10 October 2026, so "Core Peptides retatrutide", which one Mexican buyer asked about in September 2026, came from somewhere else.

Regulatory record

None of the 22 FDA retatrutide letters in our still-selling table names Core Peptides, and Peptide Decode found no warning letter on 3 October 2026. Peptide Decode also reports that an FDA advisory briefing from 2024 cites the shop's kisspeptin-10 page; we have not read that briefing.

How we scored Core Peptides

SubscoreWeightScoreMain reason
COA quality40%4.5156 open lab records and 81 linked PDFs; a 59.35% KPV lot and a 42%-of-label IGF-1 LR3 vial; shop copies omit quantity; one report number on two products; identity on 45 records, HPLC only
Pricing25%5.5Mostly above our index median, MOTS-c by 90%
Shipping20%6.5Stated same-day dispatch and 1-3 day USPS; no order of ours
Support15%5.5Phone, email and a 30-day refund window; no named legal entity; many look-alike domains

The weighted subscores come to 5.3. We take no regulatory deduction, because we found no FDA letter and no code-named GLP product, so the score stays at 5.3.

Our methodology page explains the rubric. Under it, a shop COA that differs from the lab's copy counts against the COA subscore, which is where the quantity and Fragment 176-191 findings land.

Verdict

Core Peptides gives you more lab paperwork than most shops, and lets you read it without an account. Use it the way the shop's own pages do not: match your lot code to the lab's copy on verifiedbyvanguard.com, read the quantity line there, and skip any product whose page shows no certificate. If you want certificates with a mass-spectrometry identity line and a shop ledger that keeps failures in view, compare Ion Peptide and Hello Stacks.

FAQ

Is Core Peptides legit? It is a real shop, online since 2019, that sends vials to a named lab. Vanguard Laboratory's portal holds 156 records for it, median purity 99.25%. Those records include a KPV lot at 59.35% purity and an IGF-1 LR3 vial at 42% of label, and the shop's copies of 42 reports leave out the quantity line. We score it 53/100.

What do Core Peptides' 156 Vanguard certificates actually mean? They are 156 single-vial tests from three batches of samples the shop sent to Vanguard, reported in December 2025, March to May 2026 and July 2026. They cover about 130 lot codes. Only 45 include an identity check and 68 a measured quantity. A record helps you only if its lot code matches the code on your vial.

Is Vanguard Laboratory accredited for peptide testing? Vanguard holds A2LA certificate 6377.01, valid to 30 September 2027. The scope, dated 22 December 2025, covers food microbiology, gluten, trace metals, preservatives and residual solvents. It lists no HPLC peptide purity, identity or quantity test, so the results on Core Peptides certificates fall outside the accredited scope.

Why does the Core Peptides COA not show quantity? We do not know. For 42 reports, Vanguard's own copy prints a measured quantity, and the PDF on the Core Peptides product page for the same report does not. Both files carry identical creation timestamps. Open the lab's copy on verifiedbyvanguard.com to see the quantity line, including the 0.42 mg IGF-1 LR3 result.

Does Core Peptides sell retatrutide or semaglutide? Not on corepeptides.com. The 104-product catalog we read on 10 October 2026 held no GLP-1 product, though the December 2025 lab order included two semaglutide vials. "Core Peptides" retatrutide sold elsewhere comes from other domains using the name; we could not link any of them to corepeptides.com.

Does vialaudit earn commission from Core Peptides? No. We have no affiliate, sponsorship or referral deal with Core Peptides, and it has not paid us for anything. This page carries no affiliate link and no coupon code. The visit button goes to the shop's plain homepage, with no tracking code, so we earn nothing if you buy there.

What we read, and what we did not

On 10 October 2026 we pulled all 156 records from Vanguard's public portal for the brand "Core Peptides", their verification pages and their PDFs, and read every PDF. We downloaded the 88 certificate PDFs linked from the shop's 104 product pages and compared each with the lab's copy where one exists. We also read the shop's catalog feed, about, contact, shipping, terms and privacy pages, RDAP, Vanguard's A2LA scope, our Kovera and Janoshik mirrors, other raters' published pages and Reddit search results.

We did not order, open checkout, or contact Core Peptides or Vanguard. We did not read Finnrick's Core Peptides page, the 2024 FDA briefing Peptide Decode cites, or the 26 shop PDFs that have no public lab record. Two December 2025 certificates are image-only; we read their values from the rendered image.
